Special Free Wheel Coupling for early US models that do not have quick release groove on PTO shaft.
U.S. Safety Standard precludes the use of P.T.O. adaptors that could extend the tractor P.T.O. shaft with the possibility of the universal joint protruding BEYOND THE TRACTOR SAFETY SHIELD.
Before fitting the over-run coupler you must confirm that the tractor involved is fitted with an ASAE or ISO approved tractor Master Power Take-off GUARD as supplied by the tractor manufacturer and that a guard extension has been fitted.

Over-run coupling prevents the tractor PTO and transmission from being driven by implements on the over-run ie. the inability to stop single clutch tractors such as the Ferguson Te20, TO20, MF35 single, Ford 8N, 9N, 2N when a Rotary Cutter is attached.
No protection under load hence normally used in conjunction with a separate clutch.
