Round Baler PTO Shafts
Wide-angle (CV) PTO shafts with shear bolt yoke, slip clutch or torque limiter for John Deere, Claas, Krone, New Holland, Case IH, MF, Challenger, Heston, New Idea and Vermeer round balers.
Tractor PTO
540 rpm tractors use a 1 3/8″ × 6 spline stub. 1000 rpm tractors use 1 3/8″ × 21 or 1 3/4″ × 20. Pick the shaft whose tractor end matches your tractor.
Implement end
The implement end must match the baler’s input shaft (1 3/8″ × 6 or 1 3/8″ × 21). It is listed above each table.
Protection
Shear bolt yokes break a bolt on overload. Slip clutches (8″ / 200 mm) slip and reset. Torque limiters disconnect and re-engage.
Wide angle shafts: 80° short term and stationary, 25° continuous operation. Exceeding the maximum angle breaks the joint and is not covered by warranty. Fit a tractor turning limiter to the drawbar.
